Mariah Carey Takes Over Times Square to Celebrate New Album

It’s all about the fans for Mariah Carey.  Following the announcement of her 14th studio album Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse, the Pop diva shut down Times Square to celebrate with her lambs.
Telling her followers on Twitter to meet her at 43rd and Broadway, Mimi caused quite the fan frenzy, as the giant screens in Times Square displayed her album cover and the illustration that inspired the title.

“Looking at my self portrait blown up in Times Square,” said Mariah, who drew the picture when she was three-and-a-half. “Surreal… never thought I’d see my childhood drawing up there!”
Fans held signs and cheered as Mariah posed for photos with her Lambily.
“Making new friends in Times Square!” said Mimi.
Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse is due in stores May 27 featuring appearances from Nas, Wale, Fabolous, and Miguel.
