Police
are on the hunt for a hammer wielding man who mugged a 32-year-old man
in a Brooklyn train station. The 32- year-old was purchasing a MetroCard
as he was attacked by the hooligan. "Give me your money," the goon
demanded. The victim forked over $140 and the suspect fled. Paramedics
took the wounded straphanger to Brookdale University Hospital and
Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Cops were still looking for the thief Thursday morning. The suspect was described as in 5-foot-10 black man, weighing between 130 and 150 pounds, clad in a red, long-sleeved shirt.
