Rest In Peace!

Photo: Rest In Peace! An early hip-hop pioneer, D.J. E-Z Rock has passed away. Best known for his 1988 hit “It Takes Two” with his partner Rob Base, Rodney “Skip” Bryce in Harlem, New York. It Takes Two” peaked at #3 on Billboard ’s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. The duo’s album of the same name produced the follow up hit “Joy and Pain.” Pictured on the right, the cause of death has yet to be revealed.
