Savage carjack in Queens turns bystander into hero...

Marisol Matias, 51, became a local hero yesterday. She came to the rescue of a 52-year-old female driver who was the victim of a bloody stabbing Tuesday in Cambria Heights, Queens. Matias stopped a bloodthirsty carjacker by kicking a knife out of his hand. The terror started at 12:30 p.m. when Romario Walker jumped into an idling Hyundai and began stabbing the female driver in the hand, head and shoulder. Charges against Walker are still pending. The victim's injuries are non life-threatening.
